Wonder Pet Cake

Aiden's Birthday has finally arrived.
July 24, 2009 Aiden turned 4.
That is so hard to believe.
It seems like it was just yesterday that he came into our world.
The cake of Aiden's dreams.
A Wonder Pet Cake just for Aiden's 4th birthday.
Wonder Pet's are his favorite characters. We don't go anywhere without his singing their song. Aiden's loves the Wonder Pets and when asked what kind of cake he wanted, he asked for the Wonder Pets.
Of course with all the cakes I have been baking Aiden has developed a taste for fondant. So I made the boat out of cake covered with fondant just for him.
All the animals and flowers are made of fondant.
The animals that the Wonder Pet saved came to say Happy Birthday.
WOW its a Wonder Pet Cake.
Just what Aiden asked for every time he watched me bake a cake for someone else. Look at his expressions. They say it all.
Aiden is so darn patient. Riley insisted on lighting the candles and seemed to have a little problem with the lighter. Mom came to the rescue and Riley got the candles lite. Then poor Aiden had to wait for everyone to sing Happy Birthday.
Wow. It really is just for me!!
Presents, presents, and more presents.
Aiden read all his cards and enjoyed opening every present. Aiden is one of those kids that takes his time and enjoys every minute. So present unwrapping takes a long time. Then off to the front porch were his last present waited. A brand new bike.
Aiden on the trampoline and in the jolly jumper. He had a great day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIDEN.

LADY ANTEBELLUM CONCERT

After the birthday party we took the girls to the Lady Antebellum concert at the Fair. The girls got to go back stage and get pictures and autographs before the concert. We had lots of fun at the concert and then walked around the fair. Perfect ending to a great day.

Cake for A Special Occasion

The scrubs are triple chocolate cake. Taylor made the stethoscope, scissors, and pen. She is a great assistant.
This cake is a white cake filled with strawberry cream filling.

As you can probably guess I made these cakes for Sabrina's pinning ceremony.

PINNING CEREMONY

Sunday, July 19, was a Special Day that has taken a lot of hard work and dedication.

Sabrina went through the Licensed Practical Nurse pinning ceremony at Great Falls College of Technology.
We can now call her "Nurse Hueth".

Waiting with Taylor for the ceremony to begin.

Waiting with classmates to enter. She looks so professional.

Before being receiving her pin, she places her name tag on a board with the rest of her class. These will be on display at the school with their class picture.Tanealya and Riley loot at the names with their mom. The little hand is Aiden Pointing to mom's name.

Tim, Riley, and Aiden present Sabrina's pin to her.

Class of 2009

Congratulations Sabrina!!!
We are so very proud of you!!!

TAYLOR SWIFT

I got a phone call today asking if I would come to the mall and bring my camera. When the kids where on their way to another funeral today they saw Taylor Swift's tour truck in the Super 8 parking lot. This was differently a photo op. The kids all had their pictures taken with Taylor Swift that is with her truck. They were so excited. God sure works in funny ways. After the last three weeks they truly deserved something like this.

Hope everyone had a great 4th.

Parade

We all gathered for the parade downtown. This was the 125th Birthday of Great Falls. Everyone had a great time. The kids got free pop, candy and ice cream.

Celebration Continutes

Of course you can't have a 4th of July without food. After the parade we gathered for dinner at Sabrina's house. Besides salads, I brought a brownie cake covered with cream cheese/whip cream frosting and fruit. Of course it had to look like a flag.

Hail Storm

We had quite the hail storm. Aiden is trying to collect hail with a jug and finally gets a larger pail. If you look closely you can see hail in Taylor's hair and on the deck.

Water, Water, Everywhere

We didn't have to go to the lake for the 4th because Mother Nature provided one for us. After the hail storm the rain just poured and the results was a flooded street. The kids had a ball running up and down in the water and of course throwing as much water on each other as they could.

4th of July Fireworks

After dinner we all gathered outside where Riley, Aiden, and Taylor with the help of Tim put on a great fireworks show.Tanealya isn't pictured because she put her fireworks in the launching cylinder upside down and we all learned what is was like to stand next to a bomb. What an
explosion!!!! Thanks Sabrina and Tim we had a great time.
