Halloween Night

Cobwebs are hung (I hang cobwebs all over the house. The kids love it and all Aiden could say was WOW.)

and the night is all lite up.

LET THE PARTY BEGIN
The kids and I gather at the house around 4:00 to prepare dinner and have some fun. The menu for the night was Devilish pizzas, bat wings, ghoulish vegetables, vampire blood punch, garlic knot bread, but best of all for desert we had dirt cups, spiders, carmel apples and witches hats. YUM! These are the kids creations. They did a great job.

Aiden loved making the carmel apples.

Riley made the punch. We used dry ice and Aiden loved the effect.

Aiden was Thomas the Train

Riley was a soldier.

Taylor was a football player

and Tanealya was a witch.

Tavein joined us for a group picture.

Bobbing for apple was fun. Every one managed to get one with their mouth except Aiden. He figured it was easier to just reach in a pull on out with your hand.

Next came the marshmallow race. They had a great time with this. Riley was the first one to get it in his mouth. But Taylor won because the object is to eat it off the string before anyone else.
Sabrina and Tim arrived after the games. Dinner was great and Aiden had a ball giving out candy to all the Trick or Treaters We even made it through the night without Aiden throwing up. That's a mile stone.
Hope everyone has as much fun last night as we did.

Pumpkin Day At School

Pumpkin Math

Today was Pumpkin Measurement Day at Riley's school. Since I was one of the helpers I took Aiden with me. He was so excited to be at school and Riley was such a good big brother.

Riley measured the circumference, heigth, and weight of his pumpkin.
Then he had to weight the pumpkin. It weighted 18 pounds.

Of course the best part of the day was all the delicious treats.

A fun time was had by all.

OH NO NOT SNOW

I Thought It Was Fall

It looks more like winter than fall. I was going to take pictures of all the fall decorations. But when I woke up this morning mother nature had a different idea of what I was going to post.

I'm glad I went out the other day and picked the last of the roses and sunflowers. Aiden had to have his picture taken with the sunflowers. They were planted in his garden.

Patty Cake Patty Cake Bakers Man

Bake Me a Cake As Fast As Aiden Can

Aiden has really gotten into baking.
He loves wearing his apron and bakers hat.

Breaking eggs can be fun and Aiden can do it with one hand.
Next comes the liquid.

Then we stir it all together.

The taste test is aways the best part.

Finally the batter goes into the pan. This takes a long time, as you can see he does it spoonful by spoonful.
Eventually it gets into the oven to bake. The cake was very good.
